3 diferents ways to open an image

Some of the basics in Photoshop to open an image, and it could do even easier if you know this 3 ways to open them. To do this, you have here 3 ways to do it.

1. Open image from photoshop

This is the most simple and the most used by many (for myself I use it time less). You simply have to go to the File menu and then open, or you can press Ctrl + O.

2. Open image from the explorer with the right botton

This form is also very simple, and if you heve opened the image in your explerer, and the photoshop closed, is the fastest to get it opens and prepares the photo directly to work it.

Give the right mouse button on the image you want to open within your file browser and then "Open with" and select photoshop

3. Open image by dragging within the interface

And last but personally I use most is drag and drop the photo directly in photoshop. Thus, besides not having to search the image as the first option, you can choose if you want to put it as a new image or if you want to put it as a new layer in the image (see work with layers for more information)

To do this click the photo you want, drag it to the tab down to photoshop (this must be open) and when you open it, drop it in.

Now come into play two options.

-You can drop it in the work area, and if you have no image and open it will open, but otherwise if you already have one opened the image will get you into this one as a new layer.

- Or you can drop in any other part of the interface. In this case you will always open as a new image.
